The Global Shapers Cebu Hub announced the launch of SUGOD: Merging Advocacy and Business for Social Good on April 11, 2019 at The Company Cebu. SUGOD is a comprehensive program on how to start a sustainable social enterprise.

The 8 Sessions start on April 27, 2019 and is conducted for 8 Saturdays with the following topics from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM:
April 27 - Reviewing Social Impact (Cebu Provincial Capitol Social Hall)
May 4 - Legal Requirements and Obligations (DTI Negosyo Center, UP Cebu)
May 18 - Operations Management: Business Process and Value Chain (DTI Negosyo Center, UP Cebu)
May 25 - Financial Management (DTI Negosyo Center, UP Cebu)
June 8 - Human Capital (DTI Negosyo Center, UP Cebu)
June 15 - Branding and Communications (DTI Negosyo Center, UP Cebu)
June 22 - Business Leadership (Cebu Provincial Social Hall)
June 29 - SUGOD Expo (Culmination Activity)
The sessions are free for selected scholars but is open to all at a fee of P1,000 which includes lunch, snacks and workshop materials.
Global Shapers Cebu
The organizing body of SUGOD—the Global Shapers Community Cebu—is a worldwide network of hubs who wish to create local positive impact in their cities.
The Global Shapers Community Cebu is pat of the youth arm of the World Economic Forum with young leaders from 20 to 33 years old with the shared desire to help improve the state of the world and Cebu.
Cebu hub have four pillars of engagement with the acronym C.E.B.U.: Citizen Engagement, Environmental Conservation, Business Development and Universal Education.
